Meet Our Doctors & Denturist
Dr. Stephen Tannis, D.M.D.
When he’s not working, Dr. Tannis thoroughly enjoys exploring the great outdoors.
Dr. Samson So
Dr. So provides wonderful care to his patients and is a general dentist who focuses on providing oral surgery with sedation. He obtained his dental degree from Western University in 2016 and has gone on to take many continuing education courses. He is passionate about education and is an Adjunct Clinic Professor at Western University in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery division.
TIM NGUYEN
Tim Nguyen’s experience and dedication have allowed him to create quality, custom dentures for every patients’ needs. Whether it be a partial, full or implant retained denture, all are made directly by his hands. He takes pride and enjoys the challenges in correcting smiles and refitting dentures allowing you to eat properly and support your smile. Tim looks forward to meeting you and helping you to maintain your healthy happy smile.

Britt
Office Manager
Britt joined the Blind River Dental Centre in September 2020 as the Office Manager. With over 10 years experience in customer service, business and management she is a great asset to our team and very passionate about dentistry!
Britt enjoys helping our patients understand the financial aspect of their treatment and dental insurance. She loves spending her free time travelling, with her friends and family, cooking and making pretty things on her Cricut
Shannon
Administrative Associate
Shannon joined the team November 2020 as a sterilization technician and quickly worked her way up to our full time dental assistant.
She was born and raised in a small northern town on the top of Lake Superior, and after spending close to decade in southern Ontario, she decided to make the move back to Blind River. Shannon has worked hard over the years to earn her Post Graduate in Human Resources and has over 10 years experience in restaurant management. When she moved back to Blind River she decided to pursue her interest in the Dental Field.
When Shannon isn’t working, you can find her out on Lake Huron in her kayak or exploring the beautiful trails of northern Ontario with her dog.

Jessica
Certified Level 2 Dental Assistant
I was born and raised in Blind River, then moved away in 2013 with no intention on returning. I couldn’t be happier to have returned back to my lovely hometown in 2020. I graduated from College Boreal in 2015 where I earned my Level II Dental Assistant Certification. Patient experience is my priority, and so I work hard to help people feel at ease in the dental office. When I’m not working, I spend my time with my fiancé and two young boys, working out and baking.

Certified Level 2 Dental Assistant
Heather joined our team in November 2022. She was born and raised in a small town in Southwestern Ontario. She graduated from the Level II Dental Assisting Program in 2009. For her, meeting new people and creating genuine patient relationships is the best part of her job!
When not at work, you can find Heather driving around Ontario watching her kids play hockey!
